Florence and Cora

This is a picture of Florence Hannah (Miller) Clawson and her sister, Cora Gertrude (Miller) Warfel. Florence was my grandmother and she is standing on the right. The picture was taken in Cora's front yard. The corner in the background is at Fourth and Washington Streets in Bolivar, Pennsylvania. The First Methodist Church is in the background on the right side of the picture.

Miller House

This house was located behind the Miller Mill which was across the Tub Mill Creek from the Bolivar ball field.
That is my grandmother, Florence (Miller) Clawson, in the baby buggy. The other two people are her parents, Matthew and Gertrude (Pittman) Miller. This picture would have taken around 1900.

This is the Miller Mill which was located in Bolivar across the Tub Mill Creek from where the Bolivar ballfield is located.
It was owned by my great-grandfather, Matthew Anderson Miller. In the door opening, it is believed that he is standing there with my grandmother, Florence Hannah (Miller) Clawson.
From a newspaper article, McKinley Henderson is standing on the wagon, and John Seaton is standing by the door.
